SQLstream s-Studio

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

SQLstream s-Server stores all object definitions as SQL, but SQLstream s-Studio provides a graphical interface through which you can view and manipulate object definitions.

SQLstream s-Studio provides access to all the objects defined in an instance of the SQLstream s-Server, including streams, tables, views, adapters, pumps, and so on. Using SQLstream s-Studio, a developer can create, delete, view, or edit object definitions as well as inspect the data flowing through streams in real time.

SQLstream's user interface provides the following:

an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for defining SQLstream objects and developing and testing streaming applications and queries (the Development tab)
an integrated console for monitoring the active sessions and statements within a running SQLstream s-Server (the Management tab).
